Valentina was born in Pisa in 1998. She began her studies in Chemistry at the University of Pisa in 2017, earning her Bachelor’s degree in 2021 with a thesis supervised by Prof. Fabio Marchetti. Continuing at the same university, she completed her Master’s degree in Chemistry in 2023 under the guidance of Prof. Chiara Gabbiani and Dr. Alessandro Pratesi. In the same year, Valentina started her PhD at the University of Florence, working with Prof. Claudia Giorgi and Prof. Luigi Messori.
Currently, she is undertaking a research period with Prof. Gilles Gasser’s group at Chimie ParisTech, PSL University.
In her free time, Valentina enjoys attending live concerts, exploring new places, and vintage shopping. Whenever the sun shines, she loves heading to the beach for some snorkeling.
